Have we lost ourselves?
We are on a treadmill of moving blindly away from skills and life trades to an internet driven world where skills are incraeasingly lost and in some cases never to return. Progress, all to often sees not only a generation of knowledge and skill disappear but the replacement of those skills is all too often not seen as required.
Schools and education, parents and grandparents no longer or much reduced work in sheds…….generations are growing up with less ability to do do simple tasks. its easier to click an app and order something than it is to visit and talk. We are losing the ability to interact in social situations or undertake simple or complex jobs requiring hand and eye. Depression and social anxiety disorders are on the increase…….
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
